Dr. Gary R. Holfinger

Dr. Gary Thompson

Dr. Gary R. Holfinger owns three animal hospitals in the Toledo, Ohio area. He also is the owner of Compass Acquisitions, a real estate management company. A graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, he originally was an associate practitioner in South Bend, Indiana. He is past president of the Michiana Veterinary Medical Associations, Toledo Veterinary Medical Association, Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, and the Ohio Veterinary Medical Alumni Society. Dr. Holfinger is the immediate past chair of the Companion Animal Parasite Council and serves as Vice Chair for the AVMA Group Health and Life Insurance Trust. His other professional affiliations include the American Veterinary Medical Association, Ohio Veterinary Medical Association and American animal Hospital Association. Dr. Gary Thompson is a co-owner of veterinary hospitals in southeast Michigan and northwest Ohio. Dr. Thompson is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and has a degree in Economics. He practiced in Northwood and Perrysburg, Ohio before opening the West Suburban Animal Clinic in 2001. He is past president of the Toledo Veterinary Medical Association and serves on the board of directors for The Ohio State Veterinary Alumni Association, the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association and the Toledo Area Humane Society. Other professional affiliations include the American Veterinary Dental Society and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
